The best

Punta Mujeres is a nice quiet village with lovely natural pools. There’s not much to do in the villlage itself (beside swimming and strolling), but it is a good base to explore the island. There are few decent restaurants in Punta Mujeres, but more in the walking distance in the nearby village Arrieta. The apartment is spacious with two bedrooms and combined kitchen & living room. The balcony is nice all day from sunrise to dusk, even on windy days it is sheltered. It is nice that there are some basic stuff like spices, oil, vinegar, coffee and tea in the apartment! The host Elena was very helpful and addressed the shortcomings quickly.

To be improved

We had some issues with slow and weak wifi (two people working remotely), but Elena offered her personal wifi for our use. There in no oven in the kitchen, and it is not really equipped for cooking, but sufficiently well equipped for preparing breakfast etc. This is not related to the appartment but to the local restaurants. It is worth noting that those nice fish restaurants in Arrieta close rather early in the evening.
