The best

I normally shy away from Hostels but Latroupe La Granja in Bilbao certainly changed my mind this place was lively due to the the daily events with excellent staff (big shout out to Daniel behind Reception). The room (505) was spacious, clean, quiet and the bed was comfortable and the bathroom was excellent. Breakfast was a buffet with a wide variety which really set you up for the day (great coffee). I would recommend this place to anyone going to Bilbao and looking for accommodation in the centre with easy transport links.

“Great location”

The best

Only stayed for one night and mostly went to the room to sleep like 5 hours. Thanks to the guy who let me checked in really early. The room was great and it was perfect for my stay. Didn’t have the chance to join any party or go to the cafe but it seemed pretty cool. Great location too.

The best

Love the family room that is spacious and functional. Location is perfect with metro right under the hostel. The bar is amazing with live music on the weekend. Would stay again!

“Fantastic team, comfy beds, great location”

Stayed there for the weekend — great location, super comfortable beds, and really helpful staff. Check‑in was quick and friendly, and the rooms were spotless. It was quiet at night despite being central. They also had a small concert on Saturday, which was a fun bonus. Great value for the area—would definitely stay again

“Disgusting experience sharing a room”

The best

I had a very unpleasant experience during my stay. I was assigned to share a room with a man who was farting throughout the night (the smell was terrible), and when I requested to be moved, the staff told me that no rooms were available due to cleaning schedules. This meant I had to endure another night in the same situation before they could offer a solution. Ultimately, I decided to book accommodation elsewhere. I believe the hostel should be better prepared to handle these kinds of situations and provide alternative options for their guests when issues arise.
