The best

The room was perfect, confortable, clean. The bathroom was very spacious, clean, and the shower had very good water pressure. The beds were very confortable. It has the perfect localization, in the middle of the historic centre. The restaurant that they indicated was amazing, and they have a discount.

To be improved

The only thing i didnt enjoy totally was the lack of AC. But i get it, the weather in Avila is very pleasant and chill, we didnt actually needed it.

Central location in the old city, warm hearted owener/receptionist, key-drop checkout.

The room was a bit dusty and you could hear everything from outside. The bigger problem was that they called me 6 hours before I got there said that because of the national power outage (that ended 36 hours before I arrived) made card payments impossible (even though I paid with card in multiple other places over the past 24 hours). They did it in fluent Spanish which I barely speak, they don't speak any English. They refused to cancel my reservation (which is backed by credit card so why not just bill the card in Booking.com?!) even though they breached they're payment policy and it was really long after the outage. We had a back and forth conversation for over an hour during the day, almost all in Spanish (hello there's a chat in Booking.com where we can use a translation service), trying to get me to pay cash (which I don't have). In the end they took it all from the card (so I guess it was all for nothing?!) but this whole ordeal left a bad impression on me.

We arrived very late so we had self check in. Our room was big. Good location in the center. All was clean. If you are tall (we had attic room) you will can have nice view from window

Good looking & spacious room. Very clean. In the very centre of Ávila, inside the walls. Good value per money.

No lift. Nobody in the reception most of the time.
