Les Maisons Bleues Denia

We enjoyed our stay at Les Maisons Bleues Denia. However there were several issues that distracted from having a great experience which I have to blame the Property Management. The staff met us promptly and showed us the facilities but seemed to lack a full understanding of the property and kept calling in for explanations. The grounds were wonderful and the pool fantastic. Where the service falls down is the maintenance and clarity of amenities. Iwas obvious on arrival that several lights were not working. When the hall light was turned on the light in the upper bedroom would flicker. In fact we were told that the house had electrical issues and not to use the dryer and microwave at the same time. The upper toilets had the seats removed so the user had to sit on the porcelain bowl. When we inquired, we were told it was a sanitary issue which was a poor assessment and even stranger considering the toilet on the lower level had a toilet seat. The master bath needs a new shower line holder as it does no fit the hose and when you turn on the water it falls out and will spray all over the floor. We were told that there would be pool towels , a BBQ and internet. We were not left any pool towels but were lucky we brought some of our own. We were told that BBQs were illegal, yet it was on the list. Yes, wood or coal BBQs would be dangerous to the environment so the assumptions was that a gas BBQ would be available. The internet was so weak , having two people on line was difficult. I tested the speed and it was 0.5 Mbps upload and 6.5Mbps download. One of the slowest services I have seen since 2010. The second last day the internet stopped working and when I contacted the management company I did not receive a response. In fact, I wrote about the internet, check out process and even sent a text to local manager but never received a response. On the dining room table was an album of pictures of all the drawers and cupboards.
