Les Velles Escoles

This was an unique experience. We stayed here on the day and night that Spain and Portugal lost all power. So glad we were at Les Velles vs the city. The inn didn't have power, but it truly made the stay magical. That evening we sat outside and drank a lovely local wine, while dinner was being prepared by gas stove and headlamps. We of course ate by candlelight, and the dinner was fantastic. We were given candles to take to our rooms, and had a great night's sleep. It was like a night in the 1800s, what a way to ride out the blackout! Power was on by the morning(almost disappointing, but not quite) and we had a substantial breakfast for our journey. Our hosts were so kind and lovely. The whole stay was so above our expectations.

Really well managed and genuine rural place. We very much liked the hospitality, well equipped room and breakfast :) Recommended!

Everything. The owners were amazing and it was like coming into a private home. The lady of the house was so sweet, kind, and helpful. The dinner in the evening was delicious and the breakfast was lovely. The rooms are super clean and comfortable and very cozy. My family and I had a wonderful stay here and would definitely come again.

Beautiful property. Incredible and attentive host who always wants to make you feel comfortable. We ate breakfast and dinner here each of our three nights and it was delicious every time. It’s in a perfect location to visit Priorat. Hard to find better value.

This hotel was a last minute decision for an overnight stay. It was in the most beautiful location and everything was very simple and Natural. The food was amazing
