Letmalaga Calderón

The building where this apartment is located is quite old. When we opened the door from the street, we saw falling paint from the ceiling which did not gave me a good vibe. The steps to get to the building are unusually high. There was a questionable tube hanging down from the ceiling which I think was very odd. I assume it was for the Air Conditioning. Shower did not have hot water for at least 7 minutes. When it started going, it was literally boiling and I almost scalded myself. I though this was the last experience but to my surprise, the the shower was mostly cold for the rest of days that we were there. We went to bed and noticed that there was only one big blanket instead of 2 to separate the beds. Not a big deal for everyone but worth a mention as I have not noticed that in previous stays where I have been. As we were there in December, the night was pretty cold. The windows are slim and it seemed like it let all the cold in. We wanted to make it hotter via air conditioning but when we started it, we saw that the AC was probably never cleaned as it was really dirty. We kept it off and slept in the cold instead. The windows are quite slim, so they also barely block any noise from the street. The restaurant right below the apartment had couple of loud people around during our stay there. It was manageable but if someone needs to sleep in quietness, this is is not for them. As we arrived very late and had tight schedule, we couldn't be bothered to write to the owner to look into our complaints. I have let the owner know about this afterwards and I was told that those issues will be looked into.

The doors and windows were not closing properly and we literally slept like a homeless as it was so cold outside during night time. It was indeed a terrible experience .

the location was very central which was good, but the noise was quite loud from the street , ie late night parties and garbage collection early in the morning .
