The best

There were some good and less good elements to the property. On the plus side: * the host was responsive * it's reasonably big for 3 or 4 people (lots of rooms) * there was a playroom for a young child, which was appreciated * it's quick access to the town centre: about 15 minutes by metro, which is 3 minutes walk from the property and comes every 5-10 minutes throughout the day. There's a big supermarket 5 minutes' walk away otherwise

To be improved

* There is a high school/college across the street: the students hang outside the property all day long (8am-10pm) chatting/smoking: because the windows don't close perfectly, there's a quasi-permanent noise of people chatting coming into the house * the bathroom ceiling was mouldy with black mould (see photo) * the system for the keys was annoying: you have to put the one of the keys in the fuse box to turn the electricity on. This would be OK if it weren't for the fact that this key is padlocked to the rest of the keys (see photo). So, for instance, if one of the people wants to go to the shops, you either have to plunge the whole property into darkness while they go out, or be ready to go to the front door. Likewise, if you want to go out but charge your phone/put the washing on: you can't. It was very frustrating and a shame

I want to thank the host for having us and being so kind. His responses were very quick. He was there when we arrived and gave us a tour of the apartment and showed us on a map all the places where we could go etc…
