Noise from upstairs

The neighbours, were loud and disrespectful I found that the walls were very thin and the neighbours were loud and would come back to their apartments and party till the early hours of the morning using the communal areas as places to commune and make excessive noise, if you are a party goer and out till 3/4am this would suit you as an apartment.

Friday and Saturday nights very loud and people can be heard in the other rooms.

Everything. I arranged to meet the owner/manager at 11am to collect the keys. I was still waiting at 11.30am despite him only being five minutes away. If it wasn't for the fact that the owner of the mini mart next door phoning him to tell him I was waiting, I could have been waiting for God knows how long. The photos online do not reflect the reality of the apartment. It is very tired and outdated. No oven, small bedroom with two very uncomfortable single beds, washing machine but nowhere to dry clothes. Sofa bed was uncomfortable and had various stains upon it. The lock on the apartment door needs replacing. I had to fiddle with it for minutes to get in or out. Not good if you need to get out quickly in an emergency. The shower was terrible. Water spraying all over the toilet and bathroom floor. Needed mopping after every shower. Noise levels are awful. I appreciate thats not the fault of the owner but there are two bars at the front, ten meters away where outside drinking was the norm. A plaza behind the property where music was pumping out till late. I was so aggrieved by the state of the property that I did something I'd never had to do before and complained to Booking.com. Their response was very disappointing. Just referred me back to the owner then just left me to it. My wife and I seriously considered leaving after an hour of being there but didn't want to lose the money so ended up spending as much time out of the apartment as possible. This place is one to definitely avoid.
