Limehome Madrid Sol

This hotel has a lot of potential. The location is excellent, the terrace is lovely, and the hot water supply was impressive—enough for four people to shower back-to-back. The provided shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel were also surprisingly high quality. Check-in and check-out were smooth, and earplugs were offered, which we appreciated given the noise at night. However, several things need attention. The bed was extremely uncomfortable and oddly placed upstairs under a slanted roof—making it hard to stand or move around. Even worse, the ceiling above the bed had dried buggers, which was completely unacceptable. The shower head was clogged with calcium build-up, and the carpets were stained and visibly dirty. The room layout overall felt poorly thought out. The dining table is awkwardly placed right at the entry, creating a tight, uncomfortable flow as you walk in. The coffee cups didn’t even fit the Nespresso machine. And on the terrace, while the space is great, the presence of dead plants made it feel neglected. With better cleanliness, furniture placement, and more attention to detail, this could be a standout stay.

Location was great, easy to access. The luggage lockers were very good too.

We had a wonderful stay at this apartment! The room was spacious, clean, and in a fantastic location—close to everything. The building had a lift, which was very convenient, and the hosts were incredibly helpful and responsive—especially David, who went out of his way to make us feel at home.
