Good Location, nice area, warm apartment

To start with: the staff - Anastasia - was great. She was attentive, kind, reacting fast to address most needs. Service man who came to repair exterior awning came the same day. The apartment is locatedvin the city core with all great architecture and amenities atvyour feet and restaurants literally next door. All necessary appliances are present and function. At the same time, it is apartment, not a hotel room, so the functionality of the amenities is essential. You have knives that do not cut - none of them. You have plastic skillet spatula that is unuseable - we bought another one and left for the next traveler. You have teflon skillets and pots that do not have teflon anymore. Cutting boards that you can not cut on. For the money property charges with over 1000 euros per week in the cold months and over 2000 in the warm ones averaging close to 100000 per year the owner should be able to provide these little nuissances monthly. They are affordable. Also shower doors are in poor condition, one potlight is hanging on the wire and one receptacle needs a cover - it is european open style and presents safety hazard. However, the city itself, location and the staff are making up for the quirks.

The apartment is located in a very good spot, many shops and restaurants around, close to buses and metro station. Easy access to every attraction in Barcelona :) It was spotless clean when we arrived. There is an elevator in the building what makes life easier when travelling with small kid.
