The apartment was OK. Good space and Aircon.

To be improved

The location was the big issue. The map on Booking.com showed the location in the old town area. This was not the case it is on top of a hill surrounded by several building sites which started at 7.30 am till at least 6 pm. You could not relax on the balcony or by the pool with noise and cranes overhead. There is nothing up there, not a shop or cafe. We did not have a car and spent hundred of Euros on Taxis when you could get one. We have been to Estepona possibly 8 times and would only stay in the Old Town, we love it. I have already sent a mail to booking.com before we left Ireland which was ignored. I have booked many holidays with Booking.com and will be seeking significant compensation for what is totally false advertising. It should be made clear to prospective clients that a car is a requirement and that it is a building site with Zero amenities in walking distance.

We loved everything about it except the location. A completely different location was shown on the map on Booking. Also, a vacuum cleaner and a few more cooking pots would be great for a longer stay.

“Spectacular apartment in a quiet area of Estepona”

The best

Absolutely the best Apartment I have ever stayed in. The Size, modern design, furniture, large outdoor patio (room size) and lovely patio furniture. Quiet area, windows have electric shutters that guarantee a good nights sleep. Underground parking comes with the apartment. The pool area which due to the time of year we had to ourselves. Felt like our own private pool with sun loungers- just loved it.. Rooms Service who manage the property have (one Scottish English speaking staff (that’s who I dealt with) which leant itself to good communication on WhatsApp and on check in and check out. I could just keep going… Playa del Christo I recommend- spent a lovely lively sunny afternoon here in the Havana Beach Bar/Restaurant (now closed until March 2025) Whilst there is definitely a lot of construction in the area and a lot of cranes- it didn’t bother us as we were out and about during the day and our stay was Thursday- Mon so we enjoyed the quiet of the weekend.

To be improved

However a car is essential as this is area under development and there is a lot of infrastructure in place but no facilities ie restaurants/supermarkets within walking distance. I did walk to the Marina when I first arrived - for the record it’s 15 minutes there and 15 back up a very steep hill (didn’t do that again)

“A high spec apartment with beautiful views across Estepona!”

Good communication via email and easy to find. Amazing views from the balcony across Estepona. Apartment was extremely comfortable and a lovely space to relax on.

To be improved

We only had one key and if we were able to speak to a host we would have preferred 2 keys to the property. The property is up a hill which small children and elderly might struggle with, especially in the heat. Lots of building work taking place around the apartments.
