“Apartment with great potential if managed by some company that takes care of it and cares about the customers.”

The best

The compound is great. Outdoor swimming pool, common areas are clean and tidy. The apartment in itself is fantastic, but the outdoors area was unusable for kids as the grass was completely burnt.

To be improved

Lacked access to a common area with artificial grass that the rest of the neighbours had access to. We got plenty of issues with Room services (the company renting the apartment out). Initially one of the windows didn’t close, then we found out that what was supposed to be a grass area for kids to play was completely unusable and dirty. Last, after spending 26 nights, they made us pay 32€ for two extra pairs of bed sheets, and 75€ for a mid term cleaning fee… shocking to not have these things included when you spend 26 nights at an avg price of 200€ per night :S

“Superb”

The best

The property is fantastic - spacious, well equipped, comfortable and within a 15 minute walk of the old town. The complex has a nice pool and good gym facilities too. We cooked in a few nights as there is a Lidl 5 minutes walk away, ate on the lovely patio area and chilled out with a film on Netflix. Other nights we went down to the port or into the old town - both have nice bars and restaurants.

To be improved

The only negative comment would be the management company ‘Room Services’ - they were very slow to refund a large deposit of around €500 which was almost half the entire booking cost - I had to chase them to get it back! This should be actioned immediately once the checks are made not over 1 week later. Nonetheless, the property itself is great and I would recommend it.
