The best

Excellent communication with the host for the duration of the stay: very easy check in. Located only 7 minutes walk from Atocha, so a great base for train travel. The photos are accurate and demonstrate how light, airy, modern and spacious the apartment is. I was particularly impressed with the amount of seating and the amazingly powerful shower. The outside terrace also has excellent dining facilities, but no sun loungers. The washer-drier would be excellent for someone staying a long while.

To be improved

The wardrobe was very short and only suitable for shirts and short skirts. I wear long clothes and had to hang them on the screen next to the wardrobe… not a problem… just untidy. We had no kettle and the iron didn’t work. The host now knows and will, no doubt, replace them. The coffee machine is a filter machine, serving a luke warm drink.

The best

Location is great, very spacious. The terrace upstairs seems great. Good kitchen space and large dining table. Nice building.

To be improved

The property says it is a 1 bedroom apartment, just in case you interpreted this to mean a separate bedroom, it is not, it is all a studio apartment, albeit very large. The couch was badly stained. They should install blackout curtains as there is a lot of light in the bedroom area given the huge windows. Communication can be frustrating as only by message, but this seems to be unfortunately the norm for this type of place in Madrid. There were stains in some of the pillows.

The best

The perfect place for my stay in Madrid. The apartment is very spacious with a comfortable bed and very near the train station. The hosts were very communicative and there for any questions. Will definitely be staying here again on future visits.
