“Great place in the heart of Arroya.”

The best

Lovely, well appointed property. Super clean. Fantastic shower and a comfy bed. Great directions to get there from Manuel and friendly communication throughout my short stay. So close to great bars and restaurants and a short walk to the train station. Strong WiFi. An absolute bargain, would recommend staying here to any to solo traveller or couple.

The best

Great stay at this studio near the best places in Benalmádena. We were four and had plenty of space, although you have to be comfortable with going up and down a few stairs every time you want to change spaces. The neighborhood is fantastic and a welcome departure from the more touristic places in the beachfront/marina (for my liking, quite tacky and unlivable), very quiet and populated by actual locals who live there for real, and so take care of the surroundings. The most charming streets, nicest shops, and the train station, are all a few minutes' walk away at most, when not just a few steps away. The apartment is well furnished, well soundproofed, the main bed is supercomfy, and it has most of the conveniences you will need for a short-to-mid-term stay. Communication with the host was fluent even if done entirely remotely. Most recommended!

To be improved

Slightly humid, easily solvable by opening the windows for a bit and/or turning on the A/C. However, this A/C needs a switch to be turned on, which requires the house key. Of course, it's intended to prevent wasting electricity if some guests left it on throughout the day, which is understandable - but it also means you have to be in the house while it cools down, which can be quite uncomfortable if -like us- you arrive late just to sleep and the day was hot. Keeping it on while sleeping because of that limitation actually made one person in our groups sick and gave sore throats to two others... a suggestion for an alternative would be to instead install a timer that limits how long the A/C can be kept on without user intervention, for example.

The location is perfect for getting around Benalmedena, all facilities of the accommodation are spotless and so many extra resources were included that we had forgotten to bring with us.

To be improved

The bed was a little uncomfortable, maybe a mattress topper would be helpful. For longer stays there isn't an oven, however great microwave and hob facilities.
