“Go elsewhere! Literally anywhere!”
The best

This place was the PITS! Firstly, I made the rookie mistake of NOT reading the reviews, so I take full responsibility. I booked this late so felt lucky to get anywhere. Where to start! Well it’s not a loft because it’s on the second floor of a block of dodgy flats. There are comings and goings all night long from the neighbours and you can only guess what they might do for a living given the hours they keep and the amount of traffic and noise on the very steep stairs! Walking home on the first night there was about 30 young men playing music really loud and smoking fragrant fags! Def not the place for single women to be staying (I was with my partner just for some context).Earlier in the day the police were there. Next - the actual state of the place. The bedding and towels were a thousand years old and I am not convinced that any of them were actually clean. They stank of must and damp, which indeed the apartment does. It’s never had air in it. There were rather dubious stains on the bedsheets! See pics. First rule of hiring out a room: white linen and towels for the purpose of your guests seeing they are fresh and clean. The pillows were lumpy and then bed was probably as old as the flat itself. I did keep getting reminders from Stylum, the company that runs the hiring of this hell home, to leave a favourable review. They want to try reading the actual reviews and acting on them. They haven’t responded to any of the bad reviews saying the same as this one. That says it all really. This company have absolutely no interest in whether you have a pleasant holiday, or they would have acted on previous reviews and made some small inexpensive changes. For context, I have travelled widely in Spain and lived there so I know costs and the difference between hostels/pensiones/hotels etc. This is the worst place I have ever stayed in Spain. I have stayed in many hostels in obscure places but never have I ever slept in a bed where sheets stank with stains!

“Disappointing”

The district was not safe, not worth the money you pay. The apartment was not clean at all. The good thing was that it takes only 5 minutes to get to Plaza Mayor, but the district was not safe at all. The facilities were not enough good. The hosts were friendly, that's the only good thing about the place

Had everything I needed. Charming. Fun building!

I didn’t mind the steep stairs but others might. Pillows a bit lumpy 😆

Great location, walkable to all the places we wanted to visit. Very cute apartment.

Sound travels through the walls. I suggest bringing ear plugs if you don’t want to hear the neighbours.
