Loft Jorgito F by STS Apartments

This could have been a wonderful stay. Upon arrival we noticed a horrible sewer gas smell. The smell was coming from the shower drain in the bathroom. The property manager (PM) on WhatsApp, told us to air out the apartment by opening windows. One day later the odor did go down although lingered a bit. Our 2nd issue we had was no hot water. We never had hot water the entire stay. Due to the San Fermin festival - the reason we were there - the reason we paid an extraordinary amount for a two bedroom ($140 per night normally we paid over $500 per night for the festival)- the PM told us that a plumber would be dispatched as soon as possible but probably not until Monday. When the repair person came they were unable to fix the hot water. The PM indicated that he was working with the owner to provide a discount for the lack of hot water. The 3rd issue was the air conditioner cool air never reached the 2nd floor bedroom. When we called (they never picked up and sent messages that they were working on it). We asked to speak with the owner and the PM refused saying they were communicating with the owner. We checked in on Sunday, on Monday when we asked about the hot water and the discount the PM came back with an accusation that there was never a smell and we tampered with the boiler (We never saw a boiler). Further they insinuated that we made the story up for profit? Our vacation was over a month long, with several reservations on booking.com for apartments and hotels. WE have NEVER had such an unprofessional and infuriating situation. It would be interesting to find out if the owner was even contacted - I just find it interesting we weren't allowed to speak to the owner. My wife spent hours attempting to communicate and no hot shower for 4 days. I have every communication and records of the 5 attempted phone calls. When the PM did not offer a refund we took our complaint to Booking.com. Avoid this apartment and this PM when possible.
