The apartment is located in one of the most beautiful town of the island, where you can find places to swimm anytime and under any weather conditions. Beautiful streets and parks everywhere. Nice, well equipped small flat with big windows and balcony. It is only a walk from the downtown and the cost. Comfortable bed, spacious room. Very cheep gasoline prices on the island and good motorways. It means that you can get the beaches at the southern region in max. 90 minutes, in spite of you live in a much more picturesque environment. However, Playa Bollullo and Playa Soccoro are very close to Puerto de la Cruz, also.

To be improved

You have to take care with parking. Around the building impossible to find free parking place and the traffic is dense and over regulated (it is tricky to going back to the motorway). So I usually parked my car at Calle Retama, 5-8 minutes walk from the building. No air conditioner. In hotter period you need to open the door of balcony and it means a lot of noise from the streets. A karaoke bar just at the corner of the house. Couch is in the last period of its life cycle. The frame is sensible all over the surface. In case of strong wind, you can not open the window because of the air blast (bad isolation around the entrance door). Huge elevation, steep streets and many stairs to the downtown and the cost. The supermarket just under the building is really expensive compare with Hyperdinos. Playa Martianez (closest beach) is coverd with huge stones so it's accessible only for people with good physical conditions. There were water contamination at biggest beaches during my travel. It meant that both of them were closed whole week.

The best

Lovely very large terrace and a roof terrace with pool and amazing view. The roof terrace was usually not busy and it was only a few people or we were the only ones there. Stunning view of the ocean on once side and the volcano on the other. The team was very friendly and helpful. It was great to have a washing machine. It is near the Botanic garden which was nice to visit. Not to far from center (quite a lot of stairs though) and it is a pleasant walk. Overall it was a great experience!

To be improved

We did not get a change of sheets or towels but we didn't ask either so it's probably possible. No oven. There was a little misunderstanding with the key collection but it was quickly solved by the team. The pool is not heated. The table inside has only 2 chairs and we were four. There are however plastic chairs outside on the terrace where we ate so it was no issue. The space is rather small but the terrace is at least as large as the flat so we were there a lot!

“There is a problem with some small bugs in the apartment.”

The location is ok. Is pretty far from all the attractions but we had a car rented and we didn’t care about this. There is a supermarket and you can park there.

The apartment is infested with little bugs. We arrived at night bought a pizza, left it on the kitchen and the next day was full of small bugs. At first we thought that is just the kitchen but after that we was that all our clothes were full with those bugs. there were bugs on the bad, table and everywhere :(
