It would have been nice that with the short stays we could have some better toiletteries because we dont carry those as we do for longer stays. It would be nice to have the option of conditioner and shampoo, shower gel, etc.

No hand soap, body soap or shampoo provided whatsoever, which is extremely annoying, and after I called the property manager, I was told to go down to the grocery store and buy it. First time ever not even having hand soap. Seriously, for the rental price, the hosts can't buy soap for 1€??? One should not be expected to be bringing soap and shampoo to a nightly rental, and if we had arrived at an hour in which the stores were closed, it would have been even more upsetting. After a long journey, the first thing we want to do is freshen up and you can't even do that here. The bathrooms were both dirty -- black dust in the corners of the shower pans, dirty brown shoe prints in the shower pans, long hairs all over the floors. No bathmats provided. Ventilation fans do not work and there are no windows in the bathroom, so after showering the steam ventilates into the apartment and you have to ventilate the other parts of the apartment so the whole apartment doesn't feel like a sauna. Nespresso machine water container was not washed; in fact, very dirty and we had to scrub it down as there was orange mildew in the corners. In fact, the used coffee pod tray was not emptied before; not sure why they didn't just put the different components in the dishwasher. Half empty water bottle in the fridge -- gross.
