Clean, all need for cook

The owner was quick to respond to questions prior to our stay, however, when I messaged twice to find out the wi-fi code, which was supposed to have been provided before our visit or left in a visible location (as Reception did not have this information) and again to find out check out time - the owner didn't even respond!! The showerhead & shower curtain were disgusting & showerhead would have only needed a few mins to clean, the bath was so old it was stained, 2 towels left in the bathroom could have been used to clean pots as they were so stiff (obviously left unused), no toaster just a grill thing that took ages to toast bread, mirrors were dirty, the duvet cover barely covered the bed when we were in it, the fan above bed barely provided any breeze at all & other ceiling fan didn't work at all. There was a safe in the wardrobe but no key provided & I didn't bother to report due to lack of response from owner. They put in shower gel/shampoo BECAUSE I asked for it before our stay (as in every apartment/hotel I have ever stayed in). From the details on the booking - "Check-out from 12:00 AM until 12:00 AM" so we thought we could stay until 12noon, but as the owner didn't respond we went to Reception & they said 10am (so cleaners could come in) but had no confirmation. I think it is just so RUDE for owner to ignore and not bother to respond once they received their money!! I would not recommend this particular apartment to anyone I know and say to everyone NOT to waste your well-earned money on this, as the owner is not using money received to improve or make this place liveable and comfortable for the people staying there. I think Booking.com should remove this property from their website until the owner spends some cash and update their facilities!
