“Property was very centrally located which was perfect for getting around the city, very easy to walk too The restaurant and bar downstairs was closed and very empty so lacked atmosphere. The staff were lovely and would provide a drink from the bar if asked but they weren’t trained bar staff so it wasn’t the same experience we expected especially as the bar is marketed as a ‘sherry bar’ and the staff had no knowledge about the different sherrys. The pool area was very clean but in reality it is a lot smaller than what it looks like on the photos, there was no room to walk between the sun lounger and the pool edge which meant you were often knocked or interrupted by other guests when you were trying to relax by the pool. The pool bar was also great but quite disappointing as this didn’t do ‘pool snacks’ or lunch and only opened at 4”

Location was amazing, staff were very helpful. Rooms comfy.

To be improved

More water needed in rooms and especially the pool area as bar doesn’t open till 4pm and there’s no way to get water, We were dying of thirst as temperature was 40c

To be improved

Our room was below the swimming pool. Very noisy at the time of the siesta. Many children shouting and running disturbing the people. During the night the flamenco show lasted until 23:00 which is ok. But then the staff was removing chairs and tables until midnight doing a tremendous noise avoiding us to sleep. There are other ways to do this less noisy. Moreover, I report this to reception during check out and the explanation was “they are other company” The hotel is ultimate responsible for guess rest and to give them an enjoyable stay. This was my second time at the hotel and I will probably not come back again. A pity considering the nice installation and service.

“Very small rooms, pictures on the website are out of date, upstairs bar & pool area is very tired”

The ground floor and gardens are beautiful

To be improved

The rooms are tiny, our room was a very long walk from the reception area probably 300m walk. The pool is around 8m x 8m and the decking is so small you have to wait for people to stand up or move their legs so you can get to a chair. The furniture at the upstairs roof bar is very old tired and uncomfortable, and again very limited, bar service very slow. The upstairs bar and pool pictures on booking.com are very out of date.
