“Fab apartment, ghost town location”

The best

The apartment was in a fantastic complex, with well kept, immaculate grounds. The apartment was modern, fresh and comfortable. Dan the owner met us and showed us around, before giving us our keys. It was very close to the beach, and a few local bars on the beach front were very friendly, welcoming and served some lovely food. There was plenty of parking, including disabled spaces.

To be improved

However the lack of precise directions were not good. The address took you to a road, with no further directions. After driving up and down, walking up and down with no success, we asked in a local shop, and they didn't know either. After much debate, we finally worked it out, but not great after a long drive. As it was still lovely weather it was a shame the pool was closed, as it looked lovely. Vera as a whole was like a ghost town, as seems to be a very seasonal location. Most bars and restaurants were closed, with very limited choice in the local area.
