Darkness ;) but I suppose you can't remove the tree from the balcony's side. Also, it would have been good to have access to the lock to the shutters in the balcony - it felt quite claustrophobic sitting there.

The best

Location - good budget level apartment located on the east side of Las Galetas city. The apartment is inside the hotel territory, and there is a pool also available for use. Grosary - about 300m there are supermercados (grosary shops). Restaurants - If you are looking for a high-level restaurant for a reasonable price, Sabor Canario can be recommended for you. If something more local but also really good - Casa Mary near Las Galetas. Car parking - It was possible to park the car outside the street. We could always find a spot, and that's a good advantage comparing crowded places. Beach - about 400m there was very small but sandy beach close to Las galetas. Apartment Equipment - Basically, there was basic equipment available in the apartment. Unfortunately, we did not use anything, so it's hard to comment about the condition of equipment and other aspects. There aren't any air-conditioning or heating options. The key will be inserted in a small safebox / locker beside the door 416. Wi-fi is available, and the username and password are under the router.

To be improved

Host's (renting provider) slow communication was amberesment. It was pretty cold inside the apartment, and we asked for a blanket because there were only bedsheets available. The woman, after a long silence period, answered that she could come to open a shelf where the blanket was locked inside in the middle of the day. Other times, she was not able to come. But it is a nightmare because we won't wait for her to ruin our day but we come here to enjoy the island. And where was a problem to leave the blanket for us simply available? The sound isolation - the doors on a balcony are simple sliding doors without soundproof isolation, so you will hear everything on the street. The same applies to the walls and neighbors - you will hear all. Probably because of the balcony doors, the temperature inside was almost the same as outside, so it was pretty cold during February.
