The only thing wad the kettle didn’t work

It's very noisy, which i was prepared for but unable to sleep until after 1am. Due to laughing and shouting at restaurants below.

Unfortunately upon arrival the apartment was very dirty, couch stained, walls where people heads had been dirty, floor dirty filthy microwave & oven and bedding had big black marks. Needed a very deep clean. Owner offered to send another cleaner but apartment needed more than a cleaner it needed painting and couch cleaning and very deep clean. We were unable to stay due to condition. Spoke with booking.com who spoke with owner who agreed to refund 3 out of 4 days and advised we should book other accommodation which we did but now they are refusing to pay so we are £450 out of pocket absolutely disgusting. Apartment should have been in clean ready to go condition needs lots of TLC

Obviously read the reviews about the noise but it was really bad. No sound proofing at all. Felt like people we sat in the room shouting and talking. I have stayed on Plaza de Merced area before but that property must have had better sound proofing. The kettle does not work properly. The settee is stained .

Very poor insulation—you can hear everything happening outside, from café guests to early morning sidewalk cleaning. Sleeping is impossible. The floors are extremely cold, even with socks, it’s uncomfortable to walk. There is a coffee machine, but it’s placed in a cupboard and not ready for use—no coffee capsules provided.
