The key to get in had confusion, as we were told that the main door would be open and if not the key would be on a window sill. The main door was open so there was no need to look for the key, and I was unsure that I was the only one who would require it. We saw it on the window sill in the morning and left it there thinking others may have to use it, on our return the key was gone and we were locked out fortunately one resident turned up and let us in and on the last night another resident in #2 lent us a key. Maybe the key should be in a lockbox attached to the bars over the window? The wifi password on the instructions needs updating as it should be a lower case “q” not upper.

The hotel did not provide us with the specific address of the hotel, and no one informed us about the room number and password. If we had not called them, no one would have reached out to us. However, not every traveler uses WhatsApp or has a SIM card in Madrid.
