The location is really good. On Gran Vía, a short walk from the Metro station. The only staff member I met was extremely friendly and helpful. The room was more than adequate for my needs, and the air conditioning was very welcome!! The bathroom was small but, again, met my needs. I stayed only one night but I'd happily stay there for longer on another occasion.

Amazing location in an iconic building but definitely not lux

To be improved

Very Deceiving name , Very basic and more like a hostel No information before check in which made it very stressful . When you call the host number it goes to a very grumpy man who doesn’t speak English . Need to go to 6th floor - lift can be out of order . Lovely reception staff that only speak French but use google translate - between 11 am to 10pm . Room clean but very small . Breakfast is very basic - loaf of bread , cheese and ham and juice in fridge . Door to room has a key code that suddenly went off at night when my husband was in room and opened door as I was keying code . We finally got it to stop by taking batteries off as we couldmt get hold of host . Very thin walls - could hear neighbors . We left a day early as felt very uneasy .
