“Nice villa for a lovely holiday stay”

The best

Nice size space. Worked very well for us. Nice pool. WiFi was excellent. We hired a car - plenty of parking - there is a covered and secure car port and street parking. Walking distance to restaurants, shop, to the sea, and regular bus service passes by. Lovely restaurant down by the sea - 10 mins walk, restaurants in the near Barcelo complex, or further up there are lots of restaurants about a 25/30 minute comfortable walk. We did that for at least 4 evenings - every restaurant we went to was very good. Location generally quiet and relaxing, apart from road (which isn’t that busy).

To be improved

Only 1 pillow per person Hot water was hit & miss. Mattress cover needs replacing - was uncomfortable and plastic was torn. Another oven shelf or baking try would be useful. Air conditioning in one room didn’t work, but a unit was then provided, but it wasn’t fixed during our stay.

“Great base for seeing island”

The best

The villa is great. Easily sleeps 8. Plenty of bathrooms and lots of room outside. Master bedroom with walk in wardrobe and lage bathroom is lovely. Shops are 5 min walk and bus is 6 mins. Great base for seeing the whole island.

To be improved

Not enough chairs for seating everyone at outside table. Long time waiting for hot water to reach showers. Unfortunately there was a problem with the pool filtration system so not ideal. Some more pictures on the walls would help create a more comfortable atmosphere. Especially in the bedrooms. And the lights are functional but not relaxing or attractive. Not really dislikes but more things to make it better.

The size, the pool area, quiet location, supermarket and taxi rank nearby. Lovely 35 min walk into tiwn along the coastline.

To be improved

I have stayed at these villas 4 times, 3 with another host. These villas are classed as luxury bit unfortunately this villa does not meet the standard of luxury. The basic things were provided and nothing more. A lot of items were broken, for example in tthe kitchen the kettle, the airer, the kickboards hanging off, the pool net broke, lots of things needed repairing or replacing. We weren't even provided sufficient towels or toilet roll. There were no cleaning supplies apart from handwash and for washing dishes. No welcome pack. The sun loungers were stained and tatty... the plastic chairs were a mismatch and cheap and worn. There wasnt even a sun umbrella by the pool. No towel hangers in the bathroom to hang your towel. The main bathroom was reaally dark aswell as the walk in wardrobe as there was hardly any natural light.There were too many issues to list here. Whilst out, twice someone came in and pulled the cover over the pool, which we then had to pull back when we got back in so we could get in it. I'm not sure why they did this whilst we were staying there, we were not advised someone be coming onto the property. Plus given we had popped out both times I felt we mustve been watched. I didn't like that at all. Overall this villa is not a patch on the others ive stayed in here, I was quite disappointed to say the least. This villa, whilst functional, does not cut it to be classed as luxury and needs a lot of TLC.
