Beautiful, clean property in the hills 10-15 minutes drive behind Marbella and short drive to the village of Ojen. The two bedrooms were spacious and comfy - as were the two sets of bathrooms. The living area is gorgeous and lovely to relax in and the views are amazing. The jacuzzi on the balcony is such a treat. Great swimming pool and everything was really well-maintained

To be improved

The properties at the bottom of the hill in a brand-new development so everything is lovely and modern but as a result supermarkets, restaurants etc are all a drive away. Not the fault of the property but worth considering if you need to be near Marbella or Ojen… It was quite tricky to get a cab / uber a few times as well and the waiting time was 20 minutes or more

Very spacious and accomodations like spa, gym are very good. Also the location is perfect! Only 10/15 min away from Puerto Banus by car

Waiting time for ubers/taxis was very long. Also the second bedroom is not for more than 2 people. Only if you really have to

“Fantastic stay in Palo Alto”

The best

This is a new complex (Palo Alto) - located in the hills overlooking the mountains and sea. The flat has all the necessary amenities - kitchen appliances & utensils, washer & dryer... and an impressive terrace with a nice dining table and a jacuzzi, where we spent most of our time! The compex is comprised of mini gated communities, the one with the apartment is fairly small / less crowded with a nice communal swimming pool. Palo Alto complex has a huge Club, which we had access to, including indoor swimming pool and gym. We loved the location - very quite & relaxing, yet only 10 mins away by Uber from the Marbella city centre (c.€10-12 one way). There is also a huge shopping center on route to the flat (La Cañada), which has an impressive selection. We also appreciated a nice welcome gift from the host - a bottle of Cava! We would surely consider this proporty for future trips.

To be improved

The bedding can be improved - none of the pillow cases fit the size of the pillows, they were too small! I would also encourage the host to improve the quality of pillows - there was only one 'ergonomic' adult size pillow, rest were very small and quite uncomfortable especially for longer stays. Also, the bedsheets didnt properly fit the matress. The terrace could also benefit from a comfy two / three seater.
