“Nice and comfortable stay, not if you need good WiFi”

The apartment is nice and clean, parking was usually easy to find on the streets around it. The kitchen was ok and so were the bedrooms.

To be improved

WiFi reception is almost non-existent. Owner noted that it was a problem “throughout the area” but the WiFi signal strength was very low, which is clearly an infrastructure problem in the apartment complex.

Property was very clean. Location was great. Although a very quiet village and not much to see. Esterri D'Aneu is only a 5-7 min drive and has everything you might need (shop, restaurants... ) Price was ok for the area. 330 euros for 2 nights.

The place is announced as "luxury house"... Not quite sure this would be my definition of luxurious. Getting the keys was problematic. We called from a near by town, Sort, to check when we could collect the keys. We had received an email asking to call at least 1hr in advance. The person we talked to told us to come over, that we were about 30 min away, and that it was all fine. We drove directly to the restaurant we were told, to pick the keys. But no one was there. We hang around for about 10min, everything was closed. Finally called a number we found on the restaurant door... spoke to someone else, telling us we were late and that he didn´t wait for us... (???) The drive was honestly fine, maybe a little over 30min, but was really not expecting that we wouldn't be welcomed. We were told that we should now simply wait for about 1 to 1.5 hour and come back... And to just be patient... No apologies... We went to wait in Esterri. Basically lost a lot of time for not much + kind of messed up the vibe. Finally met the guy, who hardly apologized to my wife, and hardly talked to me at all. Once at the apartment, all the windows were closed. Once opened, we realized we were on the ground floor, with absolutely no view whatsoever, excepted on the entrance to a subterranean car park. The apartment was very clean, but a bit old and many marks here and there... definitely not "luxurious". Bed was super soft and hot, memory foam like. Not "luxurious". I didn´t sleep well. Which didn´t help with the whole experience. Maybe I am being picky, but I was expecting a little more. I am conscious that at that price, you cannot expect the luxury of a 5*.... yet... sleeping well, having a decent view, and being welcomed when you arrive always help to make a very good impression and all the luxury I needed. The owner did call to check on us, see if everything was ok, and did apologize for the issue with the keys... thanks for that.

It was everything but LUXURY, there were stains in the sofa, the bed was uncomfortable, the bedroom didn’t have a window ( instead they framed a plastic leave 🥴). Toilet was clogged and the mini fridge stopped working . Luckily Julian was able to move us to another apartment . The second apartmentwas ok and we were able to enjoy our trip.
