“WORST HOLIDAY ACCOMMODATION WE'VE EVER STAYED IN!!! Owner doesn't care!!!!!”

Dirty, tired accommodation with so many broken or faulty things we had to leave and move into new accommodation after two days. Broken single bed & terrible broken blind in the single bedroom. No Aircon in the bedrooms even though the property was listed with aircon, which has (since my complaint) been edited!!! The heat in the flat at night is unbearable. Toilet wouldn't flush. The housekeeper said they were aware of most of the problems and she'd handed our complaint over to the owner. He never made contact to help us even though we waited over 24hrs. Shower fitting wouldn't hold the shower head on the wall in the ensuite. No bath plugs. Dirty old taps. Ants in the bathrooms. Curtain tracks hanging off the wall. Door handle falling off. Broken shutters on both front room windows where they were desperately needed. Old worn carpet with holes & stains in the main bedroom, which also smells awful. Sheets for the second double didn't fit. Sofa is stained & old. After giving the owner time to make contact we moved out, he has refused any refund!!!!!! He's taken our money and will not refund us anything. Booking.com also will not help us. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!

Puebla Aida is indeed a unique and characterful development. Atmospheric architecture and all maintained to high standard. Views great. Apartment charming and unusual but, unfortunately, has not been maintained to the standard it deserved, causing some problems of a practical nature. Accommodation needs more explanation and careful description. Would be fine for a couple with two/three children. But, third bedroom had only one single bed, no bedside table or storage for guest. Second bedroom had “cabin” single with pull-out on floor level- okay for kids- less so for “oldies” or people with back/middle mobility issues. Similarly, both showers over baths-tricky for the above.

Very tired and not very clean. Poor second bedroom, not suitable for an adult couple, camp bed style, no bedside tables, one light and door wouldn’t close. Bedding and towels poor quality. Urgent repairs needed in some places. Pool out of action since 16 September. ( not owners fault but we were not informed until we arrived and then owner was dishonest claiming the pool had been out of action for a couple of days)
