“Amazing Villa !”

We had the most beautiful time at Villa Taoro this July. The villa is truly wonderful and better than expected. It's more beautiful than the pictures ! We truly loved every minute and every detail from the rooms, to the shower, to the big high ceiling TV room. The sauna was a great touch. We woke up every morning for the gym and ended the night with a game of ping pong, a swim and a sauna ! The best part about the villa was truly the views and location. Amazing if you have a car so would recommend.

The best

The house was really nice and worked well for us - we were two families of 4 (2 adults and 2 kids). The kids loved the pool and lizard hunting. The hosts provided an extra camp bed so the kids didn't have to share a bed which really helped. Lots of space in the living areas so never felt cramped. Great views and great sunsets. Lots of space to eat inside or outside. Host was easily contactable and helped us with all our requests

To be improved

Could have done with an information book in the house explaining the local area, bins, taxis/buses/care hire etc. and check out procedures a bit better. Could have done with a mid stay clean as the floors got a bit messy and there was no broom for us to clean ourselves. Three bedrooms have an ensuite although one only has a bath and no shower. The other main bathroom was small and the shower unit leaked a lot so the bathroom got very wet each time you had a shower meaning the bath mat got soaked - would have been nice to have had fresh towels because of this as we had to use them to mop up the flooded water a lot! You need to pay a 50 euro cash charge if you check in after 8pm which is a bit annoying. I would have preferred to just picked up a key from a lock box and met the host the next day as meeting the host didn't really add anything for us that evening as we were all tired and just wanted to get to bed! Worth noting for those who are less mobile that the property is at the top of a BIG hill so if you want to walk its a bit of a hike to get back up! We had a car so all a bit easier.

“Beautiful villa, amazing location and wonderful rental company”

The best

Excellent villa. Layout was great for our family and we loved the guy and heated pool. The villa gets the sun fully in the afternoon and was lovely to relax and watch the views from the terrace. The master suite is sensational for the view. Lydia from the villa company was very friendly and welcoming and checked in throughout our stay which was helpful.

To be improved

The master suite doesn’t have a full en-suite. The closest toilet was a shared bathroom on the same floor. I think it would have been better to sacrifice the jacuzzi bath for a walk in shower and toilet. We also couldn’t get the outside lights to turn out outside of the timer already set, which sometimes meant we were cooking in the dark.

“Amazing house for a nice getaway!”

The best

Amazing house for a vacation!! Everything was perfect - the house itself, the room distribution, the kitchen and also outdoor area. We felt directly like at home, super clean and just nice. We had 5 amazing days enjoying the house to the fullest. Sunset views at the end of the day were perfect from the upper terrace. Highly recommended accommodation. The host Lidia was super helpful and always texted back within seconds. Top!!

“Great Villa with a beautiful view and a wonderful private outdoor area.”

What a great Villa with a beautiful view. All the rooms and beds were big, warm and comfortable. We loved the private outdoor area and the pool where we spent most of our time exercising, relaxing, reading, listening to music and playing with the kids in the pool. It’s a home away from home where both the neighbourhood and the Villa made you feel relaxed and comfortable. We really enjoyed the house and everything that came with it.
