LUXURY VILLA WITH PRIVATE POOL & AIRCON, Costa Adeje, Tenerife

We absolutely loved our stay! Despite our late arrival at 2 AM, it was no problem at all; arrangements were made for a local host to meet us. The villa was exactly what we were looking for. Perfect for our group of six, ranging from 21 to 59, it offered ample space for everyone to relax and find their own quiet corner. It was spotless, the kitchen was fully equipped, and all other amenities met our expectations. The location was fantastic: two supermarkets were very close by, and shops, restaurants, the town centre, and beaches were all just a short walk away. We would definitely stay here again. Even a late check-out was easily accommodated

Where do I even start?! This villa is NOTHING like the photos. It’s dated, dirty, and smells awful. The furniture is cheap and in poor condition—definitely not what we expected after paying over £3,650 for a week in February. The living area had a corner sofa covered in a throw, a TV that didn’t even have sound, and a dining table, with dining chairs covered in horrible nylon chair covers. On day two, we realised why—the original faux leather on the chairs had disintegrated, leaving bits of plastic all over the floor every time we sat on them! The kitchen wasn’t much better. The built-in microwave was missing, replaced with an old one.. The utensils were old and broken, and some of the crockery was chipped. Master Bedroom - There wasn’t any batteries in any of the remotes, so no TV or air conditioning. There wasn’t any working air conditioning unit in the basement bedroom either. Outside, there was plenty of uncomfortable seating, the cushions were just thin sun lounger pads. The furniture was all covered in throws, like it was hiding something. The pool area was tiny, cramming four cheap plastic sun loungers together (not the same as the pictures)—not ideal for a villa that supposedly sleeps eight. We don’t use the back area much as it doesn’t get any sun! The front lounge area had a bench, two chairs a small table. The pictures showed a canopy, but in reality, it was just a frame with rusty poles, no canopy at all. We didn’t wear shoes indoors, yet by the first night, everyone’s feet were black with dirt. In the daylight it was obvious the floors hadn't been cleaned, to top it off there was a filled dirty ashtray!! Every bathroom had plugin air freshers which we thought was odd until we realised they were trying to cover the smell of the drains! Honestly, we were expecting a luxury villa, but, ended up with a run-down poorly maintained property! I could write/show so much more, unfortunately there's a character and photo limit.
