Luxury villa with Private Pool Benalmadena

There was a bit of damp in the basement, and we couldn’t use one of the bedrooms there. One AC remote control was missing. Pool water was not very warm. Coffee machine not ideal for big group since it took like 1 hour to make coffee with it for us all. Took relatively long time to get the deposit back.

-the cellar in which actually bedrooms and bathrooms are located has a mould problem which likely is the cause of the high humidity (72% measured by the humidity meter which is present in the house!), level in the whole house. Even in the living room and kitchen one can feel the moisture level. The moulds give a bad smell to the whole house. -there is no decent ventilation and in the current condition, the house shouldn’t be for rent. -we had hope the first day that after a day of opening the windows, the smell and moisture would be less but the opposite happened (humidity level increased to 75%) so we complained on the second day of our stay. We actually decided to move our beds from the cellar to the first floor to have a bit less issues with the bad air in the rooms downstairs. The initial solution offered to us was a dehumidifier machine… as the situation was so bad, we obviously refused and demanded either our money back or a different house. Without even coming to check the situation, we were offered immediately to stay in another house… which is a clear sign that the renting company is well aware of the bad and unhealthy house condition. Unacceptable that they keep promoting this house as a luxury villa! -outside, the garden wasn’t well maintained, the terrace where the barbecue is located, needs cleaning and the kids toys which were laying outside next to the pool were very dirty. -also dish washer didn’t open/close well and should be fixed -not even a decent coffee machine was at the premises -cockroach was in the downstairs floor Overall very disappointed in this house and wouldn’t even have stayed there a day longer when it was free as it would mean a health risk due to the high mould/humidity.
