M-Rooms

We got a room that was very noisy for two reasons: 1) It was the only room on the side of the street that is extremely noisy 2) it was also the only room that is close to the common kitchen. We might have been unlucky but a guest from another room was in the kitchen having a call until 2 AM so this + the noise of the street made it impossible to sleep. Moreover, the other guest came to have breakfast pretty early in the kitchen, which also woke us up

Although the listing mentions air conditioning, there is only one central unit for the entire property, controlled by a single remote. Anyone can turn it on/off or change the settings at any time, which makes it practically useless. The AC barely cools the space—it’s better than nothing, but the performance is poor, and it’s extremely noisy. The windows do nothing to block outside noise due to their age and poor insulation. I reported this to the staff, but instead of addressing the issue professionally, I was met with sarcasm: “Why do you need it cooler? You sleep covered and say it’s too hot... Where are you from? It’s colder there, right, so you’re just not used to it?” This response was not only unhelpful but also inappropriate. More concerning was the fact that the manager somehow knew I was sleeping covered. He unlocked my door and entered my private room while I was still asleep, just to remind me that checkout was in 25 minutes. This was a serious violation of privacy, and I’m honestly just relieved I was covered at the time. Completely unacceptable and unprofessional. Additionally, the entire common area smells terrible. I do not recommend staying here. You might survive a night, but you’re much better off finding another place.

No staff- obviously to save money - but it meant that I had to navigate 3 electronic entry systems. It worked, but it was stressful

The bed was like I’d imagine a prison cot to be; uncomfortable and smelling like damp. The air con unit was ridiculously loud but if it was turned off, you got the constant noise from the street outside. Basically, a good place to stay if you’re in Malaga to party and plan to sleep in the day but if you’re after a good night’s sleep, maybe try elsewhere.
