Mac Puerto Marina Benalmadena

this is the third time i have stayed at this hotel not the cheapest but it is the best,firstly the position in a great spot next to the marina the staff are wonderful cannot do enough for you. the rooms are very good big shower very spacious imaculately clean the food is great plenty of variety and warm there is something for everybody. the pool area is great the pool has been redisigned plus free towels,you do not have to fight for a sunbed plenty here. lastly when you arrive there is a glass of cava or orange welcoming for you.this hotel is first class i would reccomend it to anyone,i have booked it twice for next year already.

I will not stay at this hotel again (first time here) usually stay at the Alay. They have amazing customer service as in they offer drinks on arrival and more drinks in the mini fridge. However they do not offer air con between the hours of 2pm till 8pm. We have not been able to sleep the whole time as the room is boiling….so do they care about customer comfort????

Great hotel with perfect location just where Benalmadena and Torremolinos meet, very close to the beach. All services were good but will especially recommend the deluxe spa massage with Raquel! That was amazing. Also the fun little coctail course in the pool bar with Nico (not advertised enough, deserved more participants). Just be aware that housekeeping starts a bit earlier than we are used to so make sure to hang out the red sign if you want to sleep in.

This hotel is in a good spot, close to marina, shops and beaches. Great for the bars and beaches of Benalmadena or Torremolinos. We had a pool view room which was lovely although no sun on the balcony due to the position. Rooms are clean and perfectly adequate. Few free drinks in the fridge which was a nice touch. Pool area is finished now and is very nice. We preferred sunbathing on the top deck area, we didn’t realise the cabana style beds are meant to be pre bookable so worth knowing for when it gets busier. Pool bar was really good with great service and good lunch time selection. We loved the little courtyard terrace outside the restaurant, little sun trap in the mornings to have a coffee or a cava. Breakfasts were good however we were not that impressed with the evening meal. Would have preferred more show cooking with pieces of meat such as chicken or steak cooked individually and to your taste. Staff at the hotel are exceptional, very friendly and happy to help you. We felt very relaxed and enjoyed our stay. We will return but probably as bed and breakfast only.

Really enjoyed our stay in the mac peurto, very friendly staff especially Anabell in the dining room. Good entertainment every night, food is good and plentiful. Very central location. There was just one small complaint . My husband had a medical issue and was transferred by ambulance to hospital, although the reception staff were very good in organising for a Doctor to come to our hotel room to see to my husband who ended up in hospital overnight unfortunately no one ever contacted us after the incident and asked if everything was OK. Just something minor and didn't spoil our holiday. We will be back.

Great location very close to most things, there are lots of bars and restaurants within walking distance, and around 20 minutes from Málaga airport in a taxi.The beach and harbour are minutes away. We arrived at around 10:30 am expecting a wait for our room , however it was all ready. The reception booked us in and offered us an orange juice or glass of champagne. The room was clean and had good Aircon although it's two oversize singles pushed together and not a double. The entertainment is very Hotel like with Spanish singers belting out a mixture of Spanish and English songs. Breakfast is a buffet style with everything from sausage, bacon and eggs to fruit and cold meats. Staff are always polite and helpful. They also have a spa at the hotel you can use for one hour daily ( sauna, steam room and jacuzzi) as well as extras you pay for. Overall a very nice hotel , I would come back for sure.
