“Great location and nice space in the center of the city.”

The best

This is a very nice central location in Madrid and was pretty spacious for being in the heart of the city. Three bedrooms and two baths meant that the 3 of us had no problems with space during our trip. The kitchen was well stocked and it was nice to have all of the amenities.

To be improved

It was a bit rough when we got in and had to figure out the hot water heater, and then wait for it to start working after a long day traveling. Also, the shower glass is also not really long enough so water does get on the floor a bit. The three bedrooms are definitely not traditional; the one upstairs is also used as the living room (but it does have a door), one of the downstairs rooms doesn't have a door. While this spot is in the heart of the city that also means that there are nightlife sounds coming in until the bars close.

The owner claimed that I had smoked in the room. Even though I found cigarette butts when I got into the home, I didn’t even mention that. It was hard for me to convince the owner, but in the end, we managed to figure it out.
