Excellent location, charming apartment with all the facilities we needed and a nice feeling. Hosts were easy to deal with before arrival. Very good choice!

“great location, very tastefully done interiors, good amenities, very modern apartment within a classical facade. · Cons: Lift to 3rd floor did not work. We were there for 5 nights and we raised a complaint on day 1... Yet when we left issue was not rectified. In one of the days the door and top panel separating living area from bedroom fell down and door fell away.. thankfully no one was hurt. However that issue was rectified promptly.”

Excellent location- at the top of lots of cafes, 5-10 minutes walk to the Royal Palace, 20 minutes walk to Museum de Prado, right in the center but equally quiet. Comfortable bed, adequate toiletries and great kitchen equipment. Thoroughly recommended.

The apartment was centrally located and it was easy to walk to many places in Madrid - the Prado, the Royal Palace, Plaza Mayor, Retiro Park, the Sunday flee market, etc. There are many restaurants, tapas bars, etc nearby. Over all a good location if you're into walking to venues. It was comfortable and fairly well appointed. It a nice kitchen, comfortable sofa and bed.

I hated the shower! One of the doors was missing but worse the floor flooded everytime the shower was used. I must say this is not unique to this apartment. We've experienced similar situations at other hotels and apartments. I love so many things about Europe but their shower skills and technologies are terrible - there's almost always a bigger mess than necessary to clean up. Adding a couple 5cm curbs around the shower would help. Many places we visit have a few basic supplies provided (or left behind by previous visitors). It would have been nice to have some salt, pepper, basic spices, olive oil, etc. Having said that - I do appreciated the risk of using opened food so I understand the host not providing them - the risk may just be too great.
