Madrid Catedral - 1 dormitorio en el Centro

I wasn't able to contact the host. The reservation assumed I had a mobile phone (to enter the building) but did not mention this requirement during the reservation process. This was especially worrisome since Madrid was experiencing sporadic blackouts during our stay and we could have easily been locked out of the building.

Everything was great. The only issue was that we couldnt use the kitchen spatulas with the pans, because it would ruin the Teflon cover.

Pillows needs to be improved

We only had a couple of complaints. The shower was a little fiddly. You couldn't open the flow all the way or you'd run out of hot water. The pillows were terrible and we had to buy pillows. It wouldn't cost them very much to replace them. It would also have been nice to have separate sheets for hot sleepers and using on the couch.

The host did not leave any complementary things on the apartment. No water, no coffee nothing to make the stay nicer which is really odd since I have always booked places like this and the host always includes at least courtesy water and coffee. There was a coffee machine and a tiny soap in the bathroom. There was nothing, almost no toilet paper so for only a few days we had to buy stuff. There was nothing in the apartment related to Madrid like places to go, recommendations, etc.
