Madrid Marriott Auditorium Hotel & Conference Center

The customer service at this hotel is poor at best. The reception staff are unwelcoming and rude - we witnessed one sour looking staff member snap she was helping other customers when clearly she wasn’t. You are made to feel an inconvenience and the first impression is poor as a result. The room was fine - large and clean. Comfy bed. Few options for food and drinks which were okay. Waiting for the shuttle in the morning seemed straightforward until it became a free for all and the staff just let those who pushed the hardest get on. Having queued for 30 minutes we were then told we couldn’t get on whilst all those behind us had. Staff just shrugged their shoulders and walked off. Absolute shambles, ended up in a taxi. Stay in Madrid and enjoy the city, avoid this hotel at all costs - it’s an embarrassment to the Marriott name.

Very large hotel and nice and clean and fairly new. We traveled as a family and got connecting rooms which was convenient. The club lounge is well appointed and as platinum member gets access. Kids over 12 technically have to pay to get in but they made an exception for us. Spacious and free (for platinum) parking under the hotel.

Had a night in Madrid between planes so we stayed here. Our room was clean and comfortable which is the most important thing that you want in an airport hotel. The hotel is a large convention center and there were a couple of bar/restaurant options. We grabbed a decent burger and beer at one before going to bed. There is a free shuttle to the airport. We found it and took it to the hotel. Having just missed one in the morning, we took one of the taxis that were lined up waiting up for airport travelers. We didn’t leave the motel between flights. But if you have time and are curious there is a metro stop nearby.

If I could give this hotel a six rating I would. We received exceptional customer service by the front desk on our two visits in the last month. At the end of January we arrived very early from our overnight flight from the USA and were able to check in at 7am! I believe that Airin (spelling) checked us in and he was super helpful. As platinum members we got access to their very nice executive lounge and breakfast at their large buffet. Because we had an early flight again the next day and would miss it they gave us breakfast access on the morning we checked in early. It was an impressive buffet. The best part of both stays was the upgraded room - it was a very large suite with a second bathroom. Wow! Very comfortable bed and nice bathrooms. Doubtful they would do that upgrade in the US. The executive lounge was very nice with good food and a very friendly staff. We used in for dinner on both visits. Our return visit had the same great customer service and upgraded room. Alejandro was fantastic at check-in. The hotel is close to the airport with a free shuttle. We didn't figure out how to catch it at the airport but we used it to go back both times. It was very handy. It is about 20 mins (no traffic) into town via bolt /Uber/taxi. Highly recommended!

i have been in Hotel Auditorium during Fitur. My agency made a mistake doing my reservation during this important congress, but they solved immediately! , We absolutely loved this hotel which is amazing! I stayed at the Auditorium more than 15 years ago, and I swear it’s incredible now. Everything is top-notch: service, friendliness, hospitality, rooms, breakfast, food and the transfer to IFEMA everything gets a solid 10 out of 10.I hope they will keep my room for 2027!

Really enjoyed this Hotel- offer shuttle from and to airport and even to a shopping mall nearby. Lounge has excellent assortment of drinks and snacks and attendant Thais is very professional and helpful.
