Magic Apartment with Private Terrace

It was a little chilly at night and we couldn’t figure out how to make it warmer.

The only thing, and others have commented as well, this is not a sound proof building. You will definitely hear people as they go through the halls, talk, dogs barking etc. More so during the day then at night. I am used to this, so was not bothered at all by it but if you are more sensitive to noise, could be an issue.

The property is advertised as having " 2 double bedrooms and 1 private bathroom" which really needs more details: 1. One of the bedrooms is *completely dark* (no windows) entry hall corridor. It is literally the space you enter as you open the entrance door, which is a square space, where bed is placed in the corner. This "room" wouldn't be legally classified as a bedroom in most countries (because of lack of windows, and because it is a "walk through" - you cannot exit the property without going through it). An important factor is also sound - this "room" has an exit door that has gaps (you can easily slip say a credit card into an apartment), which makes it really loud. You hear every step people take in the staircase (as this is 1st floor of the property thus there is quite a lot of commotion). And since neighbours have a loud, barking dog, lack of any sound insulation makes it a ... challenging stay :-) 2. Second bedroom (which is clear from the photo) is half of your living room, and similarly, if you were to "close off" living room part (through curtains) it would not have any windows, and thus not really a bedroom. This one, technically has a "slit" in a corner that could be considered a window, but it goes into the staircase of the building. It is an "interior" window 3. "Private bathroom" actually means a bathroom with a fully glass wall that you walk by non stop (since it is between the 2 "bedrooms"). There is a roll-down curtain that you have to use to achieve any privacy, which after first laughter, becomes rather annoying as you need it each time you use the toilet. Overall, it is a marvel of design to pull off technically correct "2 bedrooms" in this space (that only has 1 tiny window, and the patio exit as sources of natural light). So kudos to whoever did it.
