We only had two issues. The first was that the hot water didn't last very long in the shower. The second was that our apartment was in the middle of residential apartments. The neighbours were quite loud. The apartment above were having renovation works so there was loud banging every morning from 9am. One neighbour was making lots of noise on the Friday night until 2am. The host had no control over this though, and this obviously wasn't their fault.

The apartment is located in a sizable complex mostly occupied by residents of modest means.

Lack of electrical sockets in the kitchen area. We had none, only a multi socket extension which was really difficult to use as there was nowhere to put this except on top of the hob. There was no space to put the appliances only on the hob. The microwave was on top of the fridge freezer no where else to put that either. It was too high for me to safely use. The equipment was good and seemed new. So self catering was quite a challenge in this apartment. We had to wash our sheets and towels which wasn’t a problem but getting them dry was as the clothes airer was too small to drape the sheets over. We also couldn’t iron them as we didn’t have an ironing board and there was no surface large enough to flat iron. Poor quality towels too. At the time of booking we were not aware that there wasn’t going to be a room maid. Just a once a week change of sheets and towels and a quick clean would have helped. We were there for three weeks. Pigeon droppings every day on the balcony. The walls were thin and we did have neighbours that we think were residents that did shift work as we heard them coming in very late at night and that woke us up. We could hear their tv too.
