we told the host the arrival time and flight, and then upon arrival he wrote to us and asked for 30e in CASH for "late check in" - AND THIS INFORMATION DIDN'T EXIST ANYWHERE BEFORE THAT. We waited for more than an hour in the rain for the host to unlock the door- HE WAS THE ONE WHO WAS LATE 1h. At one point he stopped responding to our messages and we thought he would never show up. I have proof in the messages. It was horrible experience and and we thought it was a complete scam. The accommodation is not worth the money, nor did the host take care of us. Every taxi driver told us that it is not a safe part of the city, and the host also showed that he wants to get as much extra money as possible. They gave us dirty towels and bed linen too. View from terrace looks like favela.

The beds were comfortable en the host was kind.

To be improved

Cockroaches in the bathroom, some floorpints were broken, mold on the wall in the bedroom and stains on the walls. The location is 20 min from Barcelona city, but the view from the terrace was not so great (poor neighborhood)
