“Gorgeous little place.”
What a fantastic place in a prime location! You can walk everywhere from there, and it's within very easy access to public transport, shops, and countless restaurants. The rooms were spacious for 5 of us; they're clean and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious; it's not a buffet, and you have a limited quantity, but it's the perfect amount. First time in a long time we had real scrambled eggs served at the hotel, not the weirdly tasting liquid form of eggs. Sandwiches were delicious too. The staff was brilliant, so helpful, friendly and attentive, in particular the young man with the ponytail who was serving our breakfast. The rooftop bar is gorgeous! Would definitely recommend this place!
“Location, location, location”
Location is everything for this hotel but make sure you get the room that you book. The rooms on the lower floors are small and you can almost touch the building next door, in our case there was scaffolding up and upon opening the curtains were faced with 2 builders no more than a meter away. The roof top bar is fabulous and certainly worth spending time on. Everything you want to see is within walking distance. Christmas lights are amazing.
“Good location”
Stopped here the Sunday the opening weekend of Xmas lights, had a first floor room and on entering the room was horrified to see scaffolding around the church being approx 2 metres from our windows. To be fair workmen did turn up about 07.30 the following morning and made a bit of noise, but not what it could have been. The rooftop bar opened at 4pm and we got a prime seat sitting in the sun, so made the stay for the next hour or so perfect. Good location for central Malaga, and staff pleasant, but room nothing to write home about, was quite basic, no fridge.
“Nice hotel. Walk to everything.”
This hotel is right in the middle of the historic Old Town, right next to a beautiful cathedral. We were on the top floor and had a lovely balcony. There were large doors/shutters to close at night which kept the light out and also were blocked out a lot of the noise from the rooftop patio above. Note: the rooftop patio bar is really nice and VERY popular on Friday nights. If you on the the top floor, you will hear the voices/music, etc. I was a bit worried that all nights were going to be like that, but the rest of our days there, it was very quiet at night. Hotel staff is night. We opted to pay for the breakfast each day and it was well worth it -- the best hotel breakfasts we've had in Spain. Table service, good options for hot food. Note, if you go on a Sunday morning, it's the busiest day. So either plan to be down in the restaurant for 7am or 11am. Going around 8am means you are going to be sitting there for 45mins to an hour waiting for your food. The staff apologized but when 100 people walk in all at one time, it's impossible to manage. We went early the rest of our stay and the service was very fast. Hotel has a very nice vibe. There's a safe in the hotel room. Lots of room to hang clothes and drawers. You can walk to everything you want to do in Malaga from this location.
“Good overaal”
Nice hotel very central so you will be able to walk everywhere. Room very clean and comfortable but things need to be stepped up a little. Provided with coffee but no cups so had to collect from restraunt not a problem but having to do it every morning is a pain. Just leave clean cups makes sense same with milk just leave enough for the stay. No fridge so medication had to be stored in reception. Reception staff very good. Hotel is noisy but you would except that being central and having a rooftop bar which public has access to. Being 3 stars it is fine for that rating.
“Focaccia”
Great location. Very central. Patio bar serves wonderful snacks - focaccia with melted Brie is something to come back for. Staff very friendly and helpful. Rooms clean, cool and comfortable. Rooftop bar was a big hit with our grouo.
