Most appliances were not working. This includes the dishwasher, washing machine. This was known by the owners, but not fixed during the stay. Next to that, there is noise from neighbours constantly, also in the night. It's quite annoying the keys have to be picked up at a different location. Hauling around suitcases trough the city isn't the nicest thing to do.

Location to pick up keys was really far from the apartment. The apartment was close to the city centre, but the area did not seem very safe. There was a homeless man on the stairwell up to the apartment, there was also a lot of rubbish in the stairwell. The drain in the shower was blocked and flooded the entire bathroom floor. It took the host 36 hours to do something about it. I also needed fresh towels as I used them to mop up the water on the bathroom floor. Again, it took the host 36 hours to deliver some towels. The apartment is tired looking in comparison to the pictures.

Unfortunately, the apartment wasn't clean when we arrived. Bathroom had hair and dirt on the floor, floor in the whole apartment was dirty and there were even bread crumbs in the kitchen from the previous guests. I have reported it immediately, but they offered an extra cleaning service 2 days later and ONLY for the kitchen, even though I have sent a bunch of photos where it's visible that the place wasn't cleaned. Of course, we have cleaned everything on our own because who would like to spend 2 days in such dirt. The contact person was quite rude and responded with "I was offering you an extra cleaning but you declined. Have a good day!" even though I complained about them charging cleaning fee and not cleaning the place anyway. Furthermore, there is one room in the apartment where the washing machine is - it smells like sewage. No matter how long the window is open, the smell is there. There are visible pipes there and we could have heard the water running so I guess it's sewage. The bedroom is next to it and it's not possible to open the window since the window is actually opening to the room with the sewage smell. The whole place has kind of a funky, mouldy smell.
