1. The host asked for lots of personal information including a selfie of each person holding their ID/passport. Pluse a copy of the passport. I am a traveller and this has never happened before. This is also done on a website in Italy! Outside Booking.com 2. There is only a small air-conditioning system in the living room which don't cool down the bedrooms. 3. The host also asked for €150 deposit that we had to confirm it again on a website outside the Booking.com. The quality of the apartment is below average and I wouldn't recommend staying here.

Beds very bad, insects everywhere and staff totally unavailable

The shower cabinet is really small and tight but there was plenty of hot water.

The biggest issue we had is that there is no host to communicate directly with. It is a company that just sends automatic messages like check in information. I messaged them at least 8 times and never got a reply. When we arrived the lock box was broken but luckily there was a phone number on the door which we called. Someone came and broke open the lock box so we could get our keys. The washing machine didn’t work and our clothes were locked inside. Someone came after about 2 hours and got our clothes out but the machine never worked so we went to a laundromat. There were a number of issues - the TV had no channels, shower drain was blocked, loose toilet seat, handle broken bathroom cupboard, etc. Malaga Suites never contacted us about any of these issues. I sent them a list of necessary repairs but got no reply. After 6 days someone came to replace the lock box so we could leave the keys there. If they had been responsive hosts, I would have given a much higher recommendation.

We had no water for over 6 hours in the property and the host did not reply to us. We had to ask neighbours using google translate what the problem was and it turned out to be a lengthy wait without water. The host eventually replied with basic information on what we had found out ourselves from the neighbour. Even now we had no apologies from the host. Booking.com contacted the host and also received no reply so booking.com refunded us some money for the inconvenience we suffered. Also could have done with an extra set of keys as we were three staying the property. Host seemed to disappear when there was a major problem.
