The key collection process was smooth and conveniently located close to the apartment, which was a positive start. On a positive note, the view was wonderful, and the location was excellent – close to the city centre and the sea.

To be improved

The property itself left much to be desired in terms of cleanliness and maintenance. Upon arrival, we had to thoroughly sweep the balcony and clean the floors, which were noticeably dirty. The apartment feels outdated and tired, and there were several issues that impacted our stay. We were only provided with one set of towels for the entire duration, which seemed insufficient given the length of our rental. For a family of 5, we were only provided with 4 sets. The most concerning problem was the mould in the kitchen cupboard under the sink and in the surrounding cupboards. It seems there had been a significant leak in the past, as the bottom cupboards were rotten and falling apart. Fruit flies were already present when we arrived and kept appearing throughout our stay. I can only assume they were coming from the mouldy areas. Additionally, it would have been helpful to receive clear instructions about waste disposal, as none were provided. The consumables available were also very limited.

“Time in Tormolinos”

So close to everything we wanted. Supermarket, metro, beach, walking. The view from the balcony was great. The size of the apartment perfect.

To be improved

Kitchen cabinets need maintainence. The microwave was broken.
