“Nice apartment in great location, but could have been better.”

Location excellent. Good sized apartment. Balcony was roomy and relatively private. The pool was lovely and great views over Malaga. Several supermarkets and restaurants nearby. Walked into beautiful Malaga Old Town on several days which took about 20 minutes. Everywhere felt safe. The main bus and train station next to apartment which was ideal for us for day trips to take us to our next destination. Can recommend a trip to Jardín Botánico - Histórico La Concepción (on hop-on hop-off bus) which is great value for money and in a stunning location.

To be improved

Apartment was a little disappointing and felt a bit grubby. Chair, stool and settee all stained. Unattractive, thin/hard dark blue towels (unlike those fluffy white ones advertised!). Obvious finger prints on light switches and walls and one sink not cleaned properly. One blind and one ceiling light not working. Hot water went cold every couple of minutes and when both showers were on they were mostly cold. I did let the host know (a few days into my holiday as we were out every day) and they replaced towels on the same day with similar dark grey towels :-( They did offer to do the maintenance, but wanted me to send a video first. We were only there for 5 days and (having already sent photographs of the issues) we didn't have time to follow up again. They also said they would send my comments to the supervision team and were sorry, but thanked me for my comments which will help them improve.

“Great apartment, would definitely stay again.”

The apartment was in a great location - quiet but within walking distance of centre of Malaga or even easier to get the nearby Metro. Lots of cafes, shops and supermarkets nearby - an Aldi and Lidle within walking distance. The apartment is spacious, beautifully furnished and decorated and well equipped. The pool on the rooftop was fantastic with brilliant views of the city and all around. There are no sunbeds, but that didn't bother us. We loved our holiday here.

To be improved

We had slight difficulty finding the apartment - not sure what happened, we seemed to have the wrong coordinates, but when we found the right building, it was easy to gain access.

There’s a nice pool/terrace but no seating. The apartment only had 2 camping chairs & there were 5 of us. We didn’t use the pool area which was a shame as it was one of the reasons we picked the apartment.
