Firstly the location of the accommodation is exceptional. Gran Via is quite literally around the corner. There are also a number of quality cafes and bakeries less than a minutes walk. The accommodation also benefits from a Carrefour Express a few buildings down. Secondly the size of the accommodation is a real plus point. It was more than comfortable for the 4 of us (2 teenagers and 2 adults) with a good size bedroom (with hangers!) and a very comfortable and large sofa bed. In fact the soda bed is probably the most comfortable sofa bed I've ever used. The apartment is very modern, mostly clean and the shower has excellent water pressure. There is plentiful cutlery , toaster , kettle and large American style fridge. Accessing the apartment is really straightforward and communication with the site prior to arrival was good and regular. Whilst most of the communication is in Spanish and appreciate for those not able to converse (I can) may be confusing but nothing Google Translate won't help with. The apartment feels safe and the concierge service although welcome isn't really needed unless you have an emergency. Nevertheless it does give further assurance and sense of safety. Finally we stayed during 37c heat and the air con in that apartment is FANTASTIC!! Easy tongues and reliable. Great value for money and we would 100% stay here again as a family when we return to Madrid.
