“The views near the hotel were amazing. The hotel was very clean. The owner was very responsive when I asked questions before arriving. The bread for the breakfast was very fresh. The showers were very powerful. There is plenty of parking. There is a bus stop outside which takes you to Bilbao (1 hour). We had a car and it takes 30 mins to get there. · Cons: I travelled and stayed there with my brother. The rooms were nice but his room smelt damp. Mine was fine. There are no extractor fans in the showers or windows, so this could contribute to the damp smell. It would have been nice if there was a cooked breakfast option.You need a car to stay at this hotel as there are no pavements and not much open nearby. Local restaurants claim to be open on Google and TripAdvisor but can be closed or not serving food with no explanation given. I would recommend brushing up on your Spanish as staff at most nearby places don't speak English.”

I travelled and stayed there with my brother. The rooms were nice but his room smelt damp. Mine was fine. Beautiful traditional house with good connection a on a main bus route to Bilbao and Bermeo although we hired a car as well

To be improved

Nothing bad to say, it’s quite remote and there is some traffic noise if your room is on the front

The best

The staff was really professional. The venue is beautiful as it has the most spectacular views to Bermeo and the surroundings. Very pleased with everything. Thanks and we will come back again!

Traditional house, good sitting out area, friendly, English-speaking staff and excellent breakfast. Guernica is a 30-minute drive away and well worth the journey.

To be improved

The road was quite busy but little noise penetrated the room we were in. The accommodation is away from any town - the nearest is Bermeo about 5 km away - leaving only one restauraunt in the area. More information about what to see, including a map of the area, would have been beneficial.
