Staff so helpful beautiful old building beautiful garden to sit and relaxed, evening meal and breakfast really nice the best value I encountered on my travels for awhile, also a really beautiful room with balcony

“Hotel Mar del Sueve is a welcome respite on the Camino!”
The best

Entering the hotel from the back through the garden was magical. The staff was very welcoming and the room was very clean and comfortable. I had a balcony overlooking the garden dining area protected for privacy by a beautiful bougainvillea. The food and service were excellent (lunch, dinner and breakfast). A great place to stay in Colunga on the the Camino del Norte (or for any other reason!).

“Really great spot to stay if you’re walking the Camino, with friendly, accommodating staff”
The best

Comfortable rooms, great options for dinner and breakfast and excellent location, especially if you are walking the Camino. Lovely patio and bar area.

To be improved

They could use more comfortable pillows and better towels. Breakfast was a bit disorganized. It might be helpful to assign tables to specific rooms so that the food can be laid out before all the guests arrive at 8 AM.
