“Terrible. Worst experience ever. Would not use booking.com or LA reception marbella again”
To be improved

I could not get the keys to the property. The phone number given would not answer. I finally received a WhatsApp message to say I should speak to booking.com (no reason given) I could not find a number for booking.com so tried online and messages not answered. I ended up having to stay with friends.

“Good location, nice apartment (areas to improve), service not great”
The best

- good location - 10 min walk to supermarket, 20 mins to beach and Puerto Banus port (lots of bars and restaurants) - apartment is in a secure residential set of blocks, with security on main entrance and a shared swimming pool. Was safe and quiet location. - spacious, well equipped apartment with large outside terrace

To be improved

- entrance to apartment was via an electronic keypad. Part way through holiday we could not exit the apartment because the batteries were dying on the lock. We were locked in and had to climb over tall gate on terrace to unlock from the outside. Contacted reception via message (phone numbers didn’t work), they took hours to reply with no concern for us. Real fire issue! The provided code to safe box with an actual key - however the key didn’t work. Luckily the electronic system locked the rest of the time but we just didn’t properly bolt the door each time, and left back door open slightly just in case! No urgency from reception to resolve. Also nowhere to store cases for couple of hours when we were leaving, they were most unhelpful. WiFi and tv didn’t work. No safe to store valuables. Lovely big terrace but furniture (especially sun loungers were filthy). Sun loungers around shared pool were very uncomfortable

“Lovely stay.”
The best

Great location, very safe complex and a big pool which always had sunbeds available. Clean and able to get Uber/Bolt to the area. Quiet and relaxing but near enough to the bars and clubs too.

To be improved

The cleaners were still there when we arrived after the 2pm check in time and we had plans so had to leave our bags with strangers. However, apartment was clean.
